Warranty¶
Official terms
This page summarises the Trinet Limited Warranty. The binding terms are at panoculonlabs.com/trinet-warranty; the version in effect on your invoice date applies.
Coverage¶
| Period | |
|---|---|
| Trinet camera — camera module, image sensor and lens, IMU, main board, enclosure, button, status light; for Wrist Kits, the radio sync beacon | 12 months from the purchase invoice |
| Supplied USB cable and mounts | 90 days from the invoice |
Covered: defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, following these instructions.
Not covered (summary)¶
- Physical damage — drops, impacts, cracked enclosures, damage to the USB port.
- Environmental damage — liquid or dust (unless your model is specified as resistant), corrosion, or use or storage outside the specified temperature ranges.
- Lens or calibration tampering — rotating or adjusting the factory-set lens.
- Opening or modifying the camera, or removing the serial number.
- Third-party power and accessories — damage from non-certified or fast-charging/MagSafe power banks, low-grade cables or incompatible cards.
- Consumables and wear — memory cards, cosmetic wear, straps and caps.
- Software and data — the SDK, toolkit and other software, and loss of recordings.
- Thermal shutdowns — automatic temperature protection is a safety feature, not a defect.
Calibration is covered only as described in the official terms.
Dead on arrival¶
Inspect your cameras on delivery. A camera reported non-functional in writing within 3 days of delivery is replaced free of charge, including shipping both ways.
Making a claim¶
- Do the basic checks — a known-good cable and power source, the memory card correctly seated, a power-cycle. Troubleshooting helps.
- Submit a claim using the form linked from the official warranty terms, or contact us.
- Wait for your RMA number. Don't ship a camera without one.
- Ship it securely packed, with the RMA number marked and your memory card removed.
We repair the camera or replace it with a new or factory-refurbished unit. Typical turnaround is 10–15 business days from receipt. Repaired or replacement units are covered for the rest of the original period or 90 days, whichever is longer.
